What the hell is up with Hazel eyes though. Never understood if it was just they flooded 'em with pigmentation and turned into a picaso or what..?

Couldn't they just keep it open to the elements and allow the ZL hood to suck more of the heat out that way (especially over the actual compressor element)? Leave some covers over the valve covers and heads to at least muffle valvetrain noise?
I say this because my LS1 train is LOUD. LS3 trains are probably louder. It's one thing I notice on 4th gens more too on heat; these hoods need heat extractors because there's very little clearance over the intake manifold than what's in the 5th gen design. They heat up really fast if you get on them hard. I may look into getting vents put in on the hood down the line. |
