I ignore him about 99% of the time, and it bugs the crap out of him I know it. But if my car gets messed up. I will throw a huge fit. At least there is insurance.

Whew checked the radar again, looks like the hail closer to me is diminishing but the stuff north is getting worse. If it will just stay up there I will be happy.

...And the Camaro didn't wake you up?

I think I may have to have Scott call Camaro Protective Services.. *reads hail post*

I take that back..

Yeah.. SHTF mode here too, and I gotta see if the owner is gonna haul the Bird inside and start tearing her down today for the estimate. Supposedly gonna hail here too.

Too much traffic for the camaro to stretch her legs this morning. Usually I get in the fast lane on 45 and haul, but couldnt this morning.

I'm interested in hearing what the estimate is on the car. Sounds like a lot to fix, but may be possible to grab parts from junkers to keep the price down.

Called my Dad so he can put his Dodge and my moms TL-S in the barn. At least they will be safe. Maybe by doing a good deed it wont hail.

That's the plan. If the G80 is shot then that's the big worry. However it wasn't leaking anything, but acted like it was still in gear somehow (hopped and clunked even though the trans was in neutral).

So either the Trans, or the Rear are shot. If it's the trans I'm in it about 2K (almost 3 if the Clutch isn't included). After some tie rods and a few other bits and pieces the rest is just body and frame pulling.

There is the possibility that I could end up with a Camaro ass on a Firebird. I so wish I could do a Moser or Ford 9" just to get it over with.
