LG Rumor 2 or Kyocera Loft

ANyone ever have either?

I need a new cheap cell, the $50 or less kind with a keyboard and both fall into that.

Share your thoughts.

[ I use Virgin]

$41 shipped with a car charger Loft
$46 shipped with a car charger Rumor

Someone will surley ask

I don't make allot of calls, a handful of txt a month.
But need to be able to check the web a bit more often.

I still don't need a full blown like Iphone system, just unneeded at this time.
[ I have no use for a $300 phone and a big money monthly plan]

I only use maybe a 1, 2 megs of data per month.

I could go on fine with my $20 flip phone but if I can get into a cheap keyboard phone for under $50 id be allot happier. Typing in more then a quick txt message on one sucks.

GO with the Kyocera.

I have a Rumor and it still turns off by itself sometimes.

Yea the bit of extra room you get on the keyboard with the LG doesn't seem worth it.

Lots of those problems found on the web, along with worn out keyboards if you txt allot or buttons that stop working.

Also ebay is flooded with broken LGs 4sale yet not so for the Loft.

Id also be worried about the slide function and getting grit n crap in there.

Got the Loft, $40 new shipped on ebay [Virgin wants $50 for it]

Took about 10min to switch over and that was it.

Though now I gotta pay $25 a month for unlimted.
[liked pre-pay better, $20 every 90 days rocked]

With a plan, I believe you can get the iPhone 3GS for $99. Not pushing it on you, just letting you know.

Edit: I just read your last post. Nevermind!

Its ok

I just don't need a real smart phone and a big contract plan yet.

I just wanted it easier then using a $20 flip phone

If I was to go better like that Id actualy go after the LG Optimus, its one bad MO-FO.

Loft pic, set on 640x480

Funny is, with no bars, I was able to email it to myself faster then I can download it

[If I could get a solid 2 bars all the time in the house, Id get Virgins wireless Broadband]

Ok but here is a little friend of mine. I have been watching him grow for some time. See one day when he was just a tiny snail, he climbed up through that screen, grew to big and got stuck up there. Though plenty of green grows there and you can see I toss him some fish flakes now n then.

Yep the Optimus is the hot new VM toy.

on howardsforum [big cell phone site]
they keeps tabs on the price as it goes up and down all the time.
Suppose to still be some out there for $129 at Targets in the VM box.

Wish I could sell my old phones, but when ya paid $20 new..........

Got a Oyster, 2 TNTs and a UT arc.

Though got real lucky, the USB and car charger from the TNT's work on the Loft so I save some money there.

Want to get a hard case / cover for it.
Thing gets covers in hand oils quick that stand out on the black plastic n rubber back.
