You see Camaro news on the mustang forum, BMW news on Mercedes forums, F150 news on silverrado forums (etc etc.)

I am really not getting how/why thats such a huge "no no" here.

IF ANYTHING, you guys should welcome the diverse discussions and comparisons. (wouldn't want anyone thinking you were embarrassed or afraid of them now would you? *wink*)

Hell, i LIKE information. I welcome you guys to post news on mustang boards. I enjoy getting the Camaro5 emails about announcements.

You just lost any leverage you had with this post and proved the mods right. Also Believe it or not most "camaro guys" are car enthusiast and already know whats going on in the industry. BTW an 800hp supersnake is pretty pointless imo, since the car is already traction limited, the only thing it will be good at is longer burnouts. But carry on.

Easy there friend..i was trying to inject a little much needed humor into the debate. I realize it doesn't "come off" in the written form and i forgot to include an emoticon.

As far as leverage..i am not sure i EVER had any. But i am holding to my point that the 2011 topic is a logistical nightmare for anyone here to have a discussion with camaro5 members AND that censoring someone for posting performance data is completely ridiculous (i really dont think either point can be completely discreditied as they are vaild from a pure logic sand point).

Popular with who? I hated all of those mustangs and chargers/dodge omnis alike.

To me the mustang failed to be a nice car after 1970 and didn't return until 2005. The only exception to that would be the 2003 and 2004 cobra.

None of them were fast back then ,but at least GM made them look good.

and to think I wanted one of these back in the day I still want a fox 5.0 LX though. Ton of them on craigslist but mostly in bad bad shape.

I agree. It's too funny. It's been like this for years. But I personally think it brings some character to the forum.

If you don't like mustangs, don't read the "mustang" thread, and then you won't get your feelings hurt, and then you wont cry, and then we could all be happy, cause the "mustang" thread in the "General Automotive" section of the Camaro5 forums is more serious than life itself.

I was only 11 at the time, but I remember all of those. I just remember being 15 years old about to turn 16 and even then I thought WTF has Ford done here...... LOL

Best looking car I've ever seen was a Mustang concept-ish car. That Guigerro Mustang (or whatever it's called)
