to update on that. he didnt go with the EMS yesterday afternoon (I left when they arrived after I gave them a rundown of events).

well last night I got a phone call about 8-9 pm from his daughter who was at their house trying to move him from his chair to the bedroom and couldnt support his weight. so I went back over there and I tried to lift him up and he was completely in pain. so I called EMS again and this time made sure he went to the hospital. it was a long night to say the least. :(

well, he is 88 years old, was part of the Royal Air Force during WWII and survived 53 bombing missions... he's a little stubborn.

but the main issue he didnt want to go was because he had an issue last time he had to go to the hospital that they got to the hospital and they wouldnt take him and he had to turn and drive for another half hour to an hour to get to the next hospital that would admit him.

I love that when my boss comes in he wont talk to me... Bc, he told another employee, that I am intimidating and stubborn.

well, apparently when they came, they detected a heart arythmia and the nearest hospital didnt have a full-on cardiac unit so they sent him elsewhere. only come to find out, when they got to the other hospital, they checked him out and found no traces of an arythmia/murmur/etc
