Damn it, i thought i was the only person with tattoo. More people have them, when did this happen?

LOL, everyone asks me that.
I just parked them like that for the picture. Ginger (the Camaro) sleeps in the two car garage, The Beast (the ESV) sleeps on the far right of the three car carport (pretty much where it is in the picture) and the wife's SRX sleeps on the far right of the carport. That way I can pull out Ginger without having to move any cars.

You ought to wait until the right moment to get a tattoo. Most women get theirs when they're too drunk to realize what they're doing, or when they do their first long stretch in the penitentiary.

Tats are fine I guess, if you like them. I don't care either way, but some people have had some pretty stupid looking tats. Plus, as Number3 mentioned, be careful where you put them, such as visible places. Landing a decent paying job may hang in the balance because of it. Believe what you will, but it DOES make a difference sometimes.

The old neighbor lady that lived down the road when I was growing up had one the Nazis gave her in a concentration camp. I'm guessing they didn't have a pattern since it was pretty haphazard. It TRULY meant something to her. She said that's why she never erased it, so that when her memory went, it would always remind her. Ever since I saw that, I've had absolutely NO interest in ink anywhere on me.

Besides, if I ever end up having to rob someone just to get by once this economy crashes, I don't want a tat to ID me and land my butt in jail. (Ever see the movie "The Town"? )

I agree.

Many professional fields will simply not hire someone with a visible tat.

And that should be discrimination, but try proving it.

And to Stacey, if u want a tattoo go for it, its your body, and the one you want has nothing wrong with it. I personally got to tattoos one on my right inner forearm and I have one on my right calf, i also have my ears pierced which shocks some people

And I agree el ess x, a tattoo could possibly keep u from getting a decent paying job, I can verify that I i went for a interview for installing the electric in modular houses, the guy interviewing was a Jesus nut and he seen my tattoo on my forearm

I am a white female over 40 with multiple college degrees and work in Information Technology Security. I am also a major coward who passes out in Doctors offices - even getting a blood test! I am a NY Jet fanatic who lives in the Los Angeles area. It took alot of courage to do this - luckily I went to Yoni Tattoo in Encino. Julie was so nice and gentle made me feel real relaxed. I got it done on my upper right shoulder - small Jets logo. My husband, of course practically read me the riot act - he also complains about my hair and clothes! The shoulder doesn't hurt - ankle probably more. It is your life - your decision! I am going to get a Yankee tat next!
check out my garage - license plate. Hope this helps!

Stacy, I am 61 years old and have thought about getting one for the last 40 years. Was in the army and stood by while buddy's got one. My excuse was I never could get drunk enough and the only safe forever tattoo is "MAMA" The wife and I still think one day we might, if we can only get drunk enough.
Do what you want to do.

NO! THAT'S NOT WHY, IT'S BECAUSE IT MEANS SOMETHING.

I guess when some people think of the word "tattoo" they think "oh that's something that I can use my credit card on at the mall to have one of those black tribal things on me for when i take my shirt off at the beach."

I will always be a Marine (18yrs) and I never got a Tattoo. It does mean something, but I fought for your freedom in two recent wars so you can get one if you want.

Stacey you get what you want don't listen what others say or not it's your choice.......Thank God we still have choices to make!

As long as it means something to YOU, then that's all that matters. I have one, and it is a constant reminder to myself on how I have kept myself alive.

Do it for YOU, and no one else. If you do that, I guarantee that you'll love it forever!
