NEW YEARS RESOLUTION WEIGHT LOSS THREAD - Page 109

Down 4 more pounds this week and it's not over yet! The Warrior Dash 5K is in just 3 weeks and I have another 10 pounds to go to reach my mini-goal. I can't believe after being a couch potato most of my adult life, I finally woke up at 40 and have realized how great it feels to be healthy and eat a balanced diet. And here's the kicker: I actually ENJOY working out (GASP!) I don't enjoy pushing myself until I think I'm going to die, but I love testing my limits and realizing regularly that I'm getting better and stronger! Whodathunk I'd enjoy sweating? LOL

I've learned to eat to live instead of live to eat and I've never felt better! Thanks to everyone here for the support and tips!

Hurray for great habits

.......your body just gets used to healthy foods and if you eat unhealthy food....
as good as it may taste, you really pay for it later, not only do you gain weight but gets you kinda feelin sick too!

That's why I pick and choose when I want a sweet, and since I already had one this week...I am good for a while !

I know!!!! isn't that the truth! my son is 17 and can put away some food, and had NO body fat!!! its amazing!!!!
