You know what I try hard all the time but it the message just falls on deaf ears. It's so annoying that even when they see one of their own doing good for themselves and trying to help them out and give the tools needed to be successful I'm seen as a sell out or an uncle tom. Usually I get the smart remarks of "I bet those white folks you hang out with and work with talk about you behind your back". I hear that so often.

But at the end of the day unless they want the change themselves it's nothing anyone can do for them. But I still will not give up, as of now I'm forcing my 14 year nephew to come live with me because he's falling in the mindset of a hood black person, so he's gonna learn what it takes to succeed in the real world and not just his own environment.

People like you give me hope for society. The sense of entitlement and that everyone but "your" people is racist is what is killing our society. If people understood the simple fact that racism only spawns more racism, then maybe people could see that them themselves contribute to the degrading of their own race.

And I can completely see the value and need for us to be stand up citizens who can deal with conflict without resorting to behavior like this...

But our efforts to help people behave in a more cooperative healthy manner are best spend in our own circles when you can be the example of how it should be done...
