2009 Chevy Corvette for 55k ?

so here in Toronto, i went to my dealer to discuss the camaro and i notice a 2009 chevy corvette for 55K CND, it was 68K, the rep said its special deal, blah blah, it had only 5Km on it, so i was wondering why is this car so cheap ?? so i car fax the VIN and it had one report on it that the rep said he knew nothing about it the next day i went in, I didn;t get the full car report, i could but i have to pay 40$, but the rep either doesn;t know or he won;t tell me, the car looks mint, what you guys think of this situation ? I am not in the market for a corvette but this is a good deal tho

Vette's are cheap right now. There are some in my town going at $8,000 (US) below sticker.

Dealers are having trouble moving corvettes right now. The price of that vette is normal for the economy in the toilet like it is. Trust me there is nothing wrong with the car.

They had $23,000 off sticker in Vancouver last month...on a 2008 ...... new 0 miles

FYI a hit on carfax is not good or bad. some of them if it is not a new car is the times it was registered with a new title from the state capital. I do not know why a 09 vette would have a hit on it unless every car delivered to a dealer counts as a hit to carfax? I am not 100% sure but it could be the case here.

Vette market is in the toilet just like most everything else. You can get a smokin deal on one right now.

05 c6's are starting to hit the 25-26k territory (with decent mileage of 20k-30k)....

I like the older ones myself... Forget 50 you can get a really nice vette for half that.

Does not always have to be the best. Heck speeding tickets look pink reguardless of 300-400 or 500 hp...

THAT MARKET HAS FALLEN AS WELL ......... Mid Styles have dropped to 1/2 what they were a year ago.

I have seen several 06 Z06 vettes on ebay for low $40's buy it now. Its a buyers market right now for sure.

carfax usually has one report on new cars. it's just it saying that it was delivered to the dealer or something along those lines. it's when it's new and has several reports that you might have issues with. there's nothing wrong with that car.
