because in the track world a fraction of a second is all you need between winning and losing. so yeah, i guess you can say i live my life a quarter mile at a time. i only buck a few times every now and then wen i shift kinda off but yea im sure i basically pushed the ss to its max potential and my boy went around the world in 80 days on me.

so im tryna see what you guys think because i mean when it comes to looks theyre probably even i just think the speed is what tips it for me. and i hear mustangs depreciate value less than maros cuz they're more classic type cars so i can easily resell it down the line.

i had a lot of fun at the camaro meets ive been to and i love this car, so even if i chuck up the deuces to my baby i'll have had a lot of good memories. so what do you guys think i should do, keep the maro or trade it for the slightly faster mustang?

Keep the maro, mod it and blow his doors off. If the only reason you want to trade for the stang because its faster stock then good luck.

Get what you like. Why rely on a bunch of strangers to tell you what to get? Get the car you want then visit the appropriate car forum (Camaro forum for a Camaro and Mustang forum for a Mustang, etc. etc. etc) to talk about it and share your joy. No one is going to rain on your parade in the correct forum.

They're just haters pay them no attention. The mustang is lighter and has a higher HP/weight ratio, so he does have an advantage. The new 5.0 is great but its more complicated and has less cubic inches. Upgrading the cams will cost you much more since the SS's 6.2 has one and the 5.0 has 4.

How can you say the Camaro has a greater depreciation than Mustang when the 5th gen has only been out for a year and half.
The amount of money you'll lose by trading it in or selling and the price difference in the 5.0 you could use to put a supercharger on it.

Take a look at the stat sheet from car and driver the SS beat the 5.0 in all performance categories.
