doesn't look all that bad, I prefer hard lines over smooth curves but they could have toned it down a little. And the car has some good performance numbers too, a touch exensive but not overly so. Not bad

I agree, too many lines. However, I think that problem could be largely averted if they were just to make the door line a bit more subtle. It just sticks out like a sore thumb there.

I think we need a GT-R thread... This one's gone a bit off topic...

Off topic... Mindz.. didn't know you where a bleach fan... (or did you just pick up that image off an anime site?)
On topic, Personally I've never liked the mitsu elipses and the nissan skyline.. crap for style, to me the gtr is just another hunk of junk.. but again I am the guy who could care less about history or heritage when it comes to cars.. I go for what I like, I am wierd that way.

I'll agree that the car is a bit 'loud' and 'out there' when it comes to styling. Thats not what attracted me to the car, it was the performance
its hard to argue with 0-60 in 3.5 I'm not going to go into all the tech in the car, that would be a whole new thread in its self. This is a camaro forum after all Marks my words though, I'll have 'em both at some point in my life. |

Shoot, its hard to argue with a record run on the Nurburgring under wet conditions.

Without the black it looks 3 times better. I like the car now. It looks like a beast of a machine with hard lines, almost robotic. New autobot maybe?

It's an autobot. Barricade was just a car because it couldn't be anything else. Autobots were all cars/trucks. Decepticons were non-commercial vehicles.

I'm just so tired of hearing that the GT-R is better than a Z06... when the C6 Z06 came out in 2006, it was the top dog at Nurburgring... fastest street legal car around the 'Ring... but then the 997 Turbo came out and it was fastest... and now the GT-R is almost as fast on the 'Ring with "less" horsepower... but there is also speculation that the GT-R that they are testing at the 'Ring is un-restricted and the street version will not be as fast as the one that is lapping the 'Ring... and the new Z06 or ZR1 will be debuting sometime in 2008, so when are we going to see the 'Ring times on that car?
I love the fact that the horsepower wars have gotten to this level... 28-32mpg cars that can pull 11second quarter miles and still be safe enough to let your grandmother drive them to go to the grocery store... the Camaro, next gen Mustang and Challenger are all coming soon... this is a great time to be alive

Hopefully it won't cost an arm and a leg to operate such vehicles. Even getting 28-32 MPG will suck if gas goes up to $5.00 a gallon.
