FYI, the Captiva that is for sale in most countries doesn't look like the one posted here. This is definitely North American livery.
My wife has had an AWD 3.2L Captiva as her assigned car since 2008, and we couldn't be happier with it. It's not an off road machine to be sure, but it's taken us all over southern Africa, on road and off (often times the two are hard to tell apart) in comfort. It's taken the Chevrolet Knights up the Sani Pass into Lesotho, a feat most off road trucks have issue with. She has survived being hit (passenger side T-bone) at high speeds, testament to it's safety rating. With real world petrol prices, it's an economical sipper with good performance when you step on it. I can honestly say, we are going to miss it when the time comes to move on.
