so i hit a curb... hard (pic)

i was driving in an area i wasn't familiar in the speed limit dropped from 45mph to 10mph (a yellow sign) and there was a 90 degree turn... i didn't make it.

i slammed the front passanger tire into the curb, the back followed suit. Dont know all the damage yet, but you could easily move the front passenger tire independently of the drivers side and the rear passenger tire was angled in a bit

when the tow truck driver picked me up he said that happens all the time there... apparently a dude died not to long ago on the turn, and said that i came out lucky

had it towed, so far damage for mechanical parts, w/o labor, body work & wheels, is $4100

Might be a good time to upgrade the suspension though

Taken with my iPhone, so poor quality but you can kinda see the dmg

If you every travel east, watch out if you drive through Cleveland.

There is a section of highway there that does that same thing, folks flyin 60+ and don't believe the sign that says sharp turn ahead.

The good news is that you walked away.

When they are inspecting your Camaro for damage, let them know that there is a ferule in the upper rear control arm joint that can crack for impacts. The inspection requires the rear sub-frame to be lowered enough to remove the bolt in the upper rear control arm joint. A light and mirror will show the ferule to be intact or cracked. GM sells the bush as a repair part.

That sucks, at least you didn't do this in a parking lot or something. I think you can keep your ego intact on this one given the issues associated with this curb. Hope your car will get fixed up right.

Ouch that sucks. I would try to file an insurance claim and say a deer jumped out in front of you.
