PS3 vs. XBOX360

Who plays halo on PC? Oblivion? Most games are better on Console or PC, they're 90% of the time a different game altogether. I was working on 007: Nightfire for Xbox, and the 007: Nightfire for PC was being developed next to me.

Take a look at both games and tell me if you see ANY similarities other than it's a FPS James bond? The PC version was using the half-life engine and was basically just a Bond mod. They had laser mines, we didn't. =/


EDIT: I had to choose between PC and a console since I'm saving for my car and only chose to spend money to buy one. I went with console. World of Warcraft didn't even hold my attention as much as Halo does. Plus Assassin's creed will come out on PC 6 months after console so I'm told.

Neither. I love my Wii.

Almost every time we have a get-together it ends up being the center of attention. My friends love it.

'Kiddie' is an opinion I believe. Some of the greatest games ever have been 'kiddie'. Sonic games, Mario games, Banjo-Kazooie 1 and 2.

Graphics and 'adult vs. kiddie' isn't what makes a game fun. Gameplay is what makes a game. And Nintendo has always had fantasticly fun games.

The Wii and Nintendo DS are hugely successful because they're fun. Outselling PS3, XBox 360 and PSP handily.

IIRC the DS is the top selling game system ever now. And the Wii sold more units in less than a year than XBox 360 sold in 2 years.

World of Warcraft didn't even hold my attention as much as Halo does.

Gods I wish I had the time to get back into WOW, my guild is almost to black temple and my school forced me to resign my raid spot... Have full tier 2 armor in bank(sad face) and flying mount.. hopefully the next expansion doesn't come out before graduate so i can at least start off fresh with it..

Oh dang... i just went all computer geeky..

Edit - PS, my everquest character had over 160 days played and my wow character has something like 110 days played.. yea I like MMORPG's WAY over FPS games..

My 60 GM dwarf Priest (only grand marshall Dwarf priest on Illidan) had something like 168 hours. I had a rank 12 human rogue, and a few more 60's when I sold that account. My new account with my warlock has something like 78 days on my 70 and like 20 on my 64 alt.

My guild had completed BT before I left. =P

I stopped raiding because I work nights and they didn't want to start the raid at 5 AM EST time (Illidan was 2 hours ahead of my on the west coast).

I couldn't find very many fun games on the wii aside from wii sports. Mario became an overplayed franchise and they've taken away most of what made the game fun. Go play super mario world, then go play mario sunshine, paper mario or Luigi's Mansion. That kind of a difference. Everyone has their own opinion for each console, which is why I didn't say buy one or the other. There are a few good games on every console and there are ones you won't like. If wii has some more games like Hajime no Ippo, I would have bought that.

Just wanted to point out that GTA is no longer a PS exclusive. GTA IV releases on 360 on the same day as PS3. I have never played a PS3 so I can not compare, however, I have had my 360 for almost 2 years now and love it.

PC is kinda out of the question because I always have problems with them and i plan on getting a mac book.
Im a HUGE Gran Turismo fan! Has anyone played Forza too? How does it compare?

Well, I have Prince of Persia, Zelda, Metroid Prime 3. All great games.

Excite Truck and Monster 4x4 (only 2 racing games I've ever liked other than F-Zero and Mario Kart)

Super Paper Mario

All of which my friends love when we get together.

And I plan on getting Super Mario Galaxy this month.

I won't deny PS2 and 3 have some games I'd like to get eventually (when they're old and cheap lol) though. X-Box though has never appealed to me.

I would suggest the 360. I have played the Wii and that got boring and the PS3 doesn’t seem to have many good games out. I own a 360 and I really like it. The controller doesn’t slip and the graphics are great. It also has very good games out for it. Halo 3, Gears of War, PGR3 and 4, Dead Rising, and much more.

I have never owned a Playstation so I don't know how GT plays, however, I love Forza 2 on the 360. If you like racing simulators then, IMO, this is the best one out for the 360. You can choose from hundreds of cars from across the globe and from different eras and classes. You can tune and upgrade your vehicle many different ways. I would recomend the MS force feedback racing wheel also.

i have a ps3 and my brother has a 360, i'm a dedicated ps3 fan! u get way more bang for your buck and besides the numbers will tell within another year or two how much more superior ps3 is to the 360! the best console ever .

This is really tough for me cause i agree with "cantseeme" about how in a year or so PS3 might be 10 times better than 360 because of its potential. But all my friends right now have 360 and I love playing online and I want to play with them.
