Unhappy Commercial Mini Van?

Hello GM!!!?I own a small electrical company and soon will be hurting. I need to buy new commercial mini vans like the Astro . None are made in the USA. That P.O.S. made by FORDIsn't worth owing. GM, if you want to capture a market build more Astro's. All of mine have 200K+ and wont last. Help the small business owner. PLEASE!!

Not GM, but it is a minivan cargo with the new pentastar, 25MPG highway, flat load floor, etc, etc.

That's a full sized Van. I think he's talking something more HHR sized like the Ford Transit.

I also owned one many moons ago.Hauled the kids & lots of antiques along with the groceries. Loved it & sold it with a lot of miles on it with the body still in perfect conditon except for the peeling paint on the side pillars.Great vehicle those " m " van's.

I know. GM hasn't produced an M-body van for years now, and they're not going to just randomly start up again. The Express/Savana and HHR Panel are your only options for a commercial van from GM.

HHR Panel is your only way to go. They're good cars, check them out.

Though I thank you for your interest in the thread, the HHR is not even close to being a true commercial usable mini van (to small and really cant put a real ladder rack on one now can we)? As far as GM not building a M-body, well that's what this thread is all about. there are allot of small businesses like mine that are putting 300K on them then rebuilding them or putting a new motor in them and wont give them up because the body design is perfect for what we need and the power is sufficient for the use. Again the Ford is Crap! I looked at the link to the Dodge and though it looked alright its still based on a passenger van. We need a full framed rear wheel drive single side door dual rear door that can put ladders on and parts bins and pull a hill and fit in a parking garage with ladders. Oh and 25 MPG would be good. Again I thank you but I'm not carrying flowers or cakes. If you are in the construction trades (electrical, my self) then you would understand. I am hoping that someone from GM would read this and help. It doesn't have to be retro or fast or cool looking just work.

Get the full size vans with a V6...decent mpg and more room for cleaner trucks when everything is loaded in them.
