Another 2 hours in the gym today. Burned 1507 calories yesterday (only 20 min cardio) and another 1387 calories today. Man...this stuff is kicking my BUTT.

Went to GNC today. Picked up some new whey protein. Now I'm taking whey before and after workouts and using the syntha 6 only as a between means and night time "snack."

Today was shoulder (week 3). Tomorrow? I think arms. Shoot...I don't remember anymore. but, I look forward to getting back in there!

Yea, my shoulders are toning up really well...more so in the front I think than the back...I am starting to see all the individual heads...it is awesome! We most definitely will have to get together for another photo shoot...I wont get back from Afghanistan until Oct/Nov time frame though...when is your competition?

Those traps are looking good! For the pose, put your thumb down your fingers and curl your wrists over and it will make your biceps contract a bit more.

Careful that you're not over training. You typically want to limit weight lifting time to 45-60 minutes.

Also, I avoid GNC like the plague. Get your gear from www.bodybuilding.com. Cheap prices and quick shipping.

. Thanks! And thanks for the tip too...I tried it right quick and it definitely made a difference!

BTW, I forgot to point out before I get that the sodas on top of the fridge are not mine!! LoL!! The Syntha 6 on top of the cabinet on the right are mine though!

Well, I've decided to try pulse carbing this week.

On workout days I'll have more carbs than non workout days (likely double if not a bit more). I also added about another 30grams of protein on workout days as well.

We'll see what happens.

YES!!! Most people see my glyph tat and ask me what the "M" stands for!! Scorpios ROCK!!
I compete on Aug 20th so Oct/Nov. would be fine, I can usually stay in shape before the holidays! lol So That would be saweet!

DB front lunge: 20,20,25lbs 12,10,8 reps
Bi-lateral Pull Down: 70,75,80 lbs. 12,10,8 reps
Hyper Extentions: 3x10lbs. 15,12,10 reps
Cable Low Row 80,80,85 lbs. 12,10,8 reps
Stiff/Romanian Dead Lift: 2x25lbs, 1x30 lbs 15,12,10 reps
Hammer Curls: 3x17.5 lbs. 15,12,10 reps
Lying leg raise: 2x45 1x50 lbs. 15,12,10 reps
Knee to elbow: 3x20 reps
Wipers: 3x20 reps

So I had a little too much fun sunday for Mardi Gras......Had waayy to much to drink....I think it set me back a bit So no more partying for me..... straight up discipline from here on out....I'm puting my progress pics on hold till next weekend! I should be ok though just cutting back on some carbs the rest of the week and making up my workouts too....todays workouts made me SORE!!!!

WOW

I'm still trying to be active and watch what I eat. But this long winter is making me slack more off and be lazy I'm going out to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings tonite to celebrate my good blood pressure reading today at my health assessment at work I'm of course hitting the gym tonite as well
