I don't diss Ford - I think the S197 is their best iteration of the 'Stang to date. It's a well optioned car, priced competitively, and even C5 owners here will sometimes grudgingly admit the interior and sign lines are better.

However, the questions keep piling up on their Chinese-made manual transmissions. I haven't seen any other recurring "sore spot" on the C5.

Why wouldn't you just buy the GT500 in the first place? It's not like they just came out. Seems like a way to waste money.
