Oil leaks usually come from a blown gasket

Oh well, if this afternoon goes as planned I'll probably take the 15K over the 25K for a Camaro and just restore the bird.
15k? where from?

Odd.. since from what I recall the T/A is an F Body yet the 5th gen is a Zeta Body.
I wouldnt want to associate with them.

is it leaking on the ground? or just burning oil?

from the shaking, it could be possible that your valve guides are burned out and you are pumping oil into the comb chamber and burning it out. which would cause issues when accelerating as well.

Doesn't matter now. Didn't win. T/A has two blown rear bearings so it's parked until I can find 550 bucks. Looks like I'm in for the hurry up and wait again to get a 5th gen.

Also means I have to either fix the Bird or sell it to someone who can and can properly take care of it.
