[QUOTE=badgebunny;2912732]OMG! That is nuts! But you gotta pay to play, especially if you put others at risk!

No others at risk. It was a closed hwy

In AK that would be an auto. license suspension; reckless driving; 8 pt. $? ticket and super expensive SR22 insurance for 3 yrs.

Everyone speeds - it's inevitable - even with a Gremlin. I'll open it up one day, but only on a straight hwy. road with NO traffic. I'm more of a torque freak though.

CHEATING.

No tickets yet myself, but Ive been pulled and told to calm it down. I was told I was doing 55 in a 35, I hadnt realized the speed limit dropped for an intersection. Verbal warning.

I've been pulled over three times by different types of cops: local police, sheriffs and highway patrol, with lights and all. Each time the officers told me they weren't giving me a ticket, and that they were curious about so fine a car, and whether I'd let 'em check out under the hood. Oohs and aahs was all I ever got from them. One of them told me about the car he raced.

Got pulled over by CHP going 92 on a 65. Showed my employee badge (police/civilian) and was told to slow down and let me go. Never failed me yet, well except being caught going 102 w/ reckless driving (as the trooper put it) in Nissan Sentra at Cali/Nev border. Work ID cut the ticket in half. Saved me $800 on top of the $700 I had to pay.

~7300 miles and no tickets in the Camaro. I tend to do at most 5 over the limit. I will however do a nice 60-80 pull from time to time, when I know it's safe!
