GM's Obamamobile getting slammed

The Volt is getting absolutely hammered by reviewers as not being a particularly good electric or gas vehicle: http://detnews.com/article/20110228/AUTO01/102280401

Once GM took that $52 billion from Barry, they knew they had to follow through on the Volt production. The Volt is exactly the kind of product you can expect from a government agency....crapola!

I hope GM can privatize itself again one day by repaying that $52 billion and buyout the UAW's 16% ownership Barry gave them. A once great company ruined by big labor unions and big government....sad.

Ummm...the Volt...Motor Trend's Car of the YEAR...absolute crapola?

And the infusion of OUR money into a company like General Motors by the government has NO effect on the men and women who design, engineer, and ultimately produce the cars sold under the GM Banner.

A lot of reviews are positive on the Volt. Some are negative. So be it. Opinions are just that - opinions. Nearly every review I have read on the Camaro is negative...yet I still lust after one. Obviously you liked the Camaro enough to buy the cave like interior and biggest blind spots in the world, uncomfortable steering wheel and every other BS issue the reviewers commented on. Drive what you want and leave everyone's opinion where it belongs...alone. Simple as that.

GM is well on it's way to being a private company again - that you can count on.

Yup, what is arguably one of the most technologically advanced cars in history is crapola.

This thread is a joke. CR is a load of sh*t. Reviews about the Volt have been glowing.

I can't help but think there's an agenda involved in this thread...it's subtle...but i think it might be there...

Im tired of people who have never been part of a union, trying to blame them for what corporations have done.

Handing out bonuses after they went bankrupt requesting bailout money. But its the unions fault right? For trying to keep the American dream....

Total BS. I have been working with GM_Volt.com forum with members and every one of them is crazy about the cars they have recieved. Over 1200 of them Delivered to date in primarly the initial launch markets and nothing but rave reviews. I would suggest talking to current owners and or researching something yourself before inserting your size 13 in your mouth. And this was far more a vision of Bob Lutz than Bamarama!
