Worst Daytona 500 finishes ever

For me, Dale Jarret's 2nd 500 win in a blue Ford Taurus was one of the worse because it was single file almost the entire race.

Yea that one was lame, though to get the track back to a good race shape after repaving.

They should have the track open to the public, near 24/7 and lets folks drive around it at highway speeds.

Then on really hot days, send a garbage truck and a over loaded semi to put some groves in it

I get why races like a crappy surface, but it can't peel off like it did in 2010.

Well, for me personally, being a Dale Jr. fan is like listening to fingernails on a chalk board. He's finding ways to screw things up that I didn't even know were possible. Disappointing! It is nice to see some new drivers mixing it up though. Time marches on! I wonder if Bayne will be another Derek Cope though?

Since his Dads passing he has not accepted his place or role in the whole thing, which is taking his Dads place. Until he stop acting like Little E, he will never be The Intimidator he was born to be.

He has to step up and take his Dads place, you will know when he gets it back. Look for the goofy Dale Sr bubble dakred out goggles.

yeah, I recorded the race while watching it... my dad had to work and always watches the 500 every year.... so that night we watched it together. He was shocked to see the wood brothers back in it, and said "It sure would be cool for them to win a race, but they say that driver is younger than you (talking about me) and has only raced like once..... guess thats not gonna happen today" . Oh, it was so tough keeping a straight face when I already knew what happened

Those are good memories in some cases.... but I was there yesterday, and I can tell you it was an awesome race to be at... I've been to a bunch of em and seeing it first hand without commercials was entertaining... broke several records, and the 21 went to victory lane there 35 years ago to the weekend with the Silver Fox. I am diehard Chevy... but he had a bad fast car... and I'm glad to see the Wood Bros win again... its good for the sport!.. they are pioneers of the sport and whatever ppl say... i think its what NASCAR needed.
