WOW thats sucks. sorry to hear that. i normally respect officers but to vadilize a persons car is disrespectful and unnessesary. take that ticket to court and report that officer to the local station. he vadilized ur car, not to mention invaded ur personal space by reaching his hand in the car and cutting the tint. fight the ticket any way u can.

O.T for anyone with borderline illegal tints when u see a cop roll ur window down half way so the officer can see your face. i know the op didnt see the cop. but try to avoid the cops stupid reason to ticket u.

...he wants to re-ticket me again for tints. I’m going get out of here!!! I’m thinking ....Youre kidding right?? Nope... he's writing me a ticket!

I told him that I am doing it this weekend which was TRUE. It’s been like down to -27c here and I work every hour God sends me so its been hard to even find a moment to myself let alone take tints of in freezing cold after a hard days work!!

He didn’t care, I told him he NEVER stipulated a date by when I had to take off my tints and I told him its not like I love driving around with a disgusting fugly tear in the driver side tint that he created last time.

So he cut out ANOTHER fugly hole! WTF. This guy hates me for sure!!

I hope he has a heart attack and drops dead which may be impossible because this guy has NO heart.

This kindda abuse of power is insane!

Sorry to all the respectable cops but this guy is a F*&(*&* (@NT!

I don’t and will NEVER have ANY respect for cops such as this dick wad. I have the utmost respect for all other cops!

Can’t wait for this old fart to retire!
I hate to see that, but then again I hate the vast majotity of cops....(Not you TAG) Ive never had a positive experience with the police!

Destruction of property is against the law. I'm hoping you filed a complaint the first time, hopefully with photographic evidence. This will be a compelling case for suspension.

Yeah, you'd better file a complaint. Illegal tint annoys me (unsafe!) but this guy was over the line and certainly operating outside the law.

Next week when he pulls you over again, be sure to say hi from all of us at Camaro 5.
(Can you take a film of him tearing the the third hole out of it somehow?)

i think with different states and maybe provinces being short on tax money they may be pushing on the officers to make more tickets

Hey don't worry about it i got pulled over in my truck today and the officer told me i needed to take the tint (its actually privacy glass but what do i know) off immediately and i told him it wasn't illegal for one and that there was no way to take it off. Well long story short he writes me up a fix-it-ticket for the tint and i have no idea what to do??? And the windows are lighter than the windows in the police cars around here.

THAT IS PRETTY DARK.

I would have taken it off after I got pulled over the first time AFTER taking pics to take to court about the officer tearing the tint. I don't know if you put the tint on that dark or if it came like that or if you paid someone to do it but I'm sure they have laws up there about how dark it should be. Whoever PUT it on your car should have either known how dark they were doing it and should have advised you that it was illegal.

I live in Texas and we can get our windows pretty tinted due to the heat. I have my back side windows darker than my front sides only because there are laws against it.

Good luck

My state law is the below link and I would have NEVER did my windows that dark. What the heck are you trying to hide in there if probably what the cop was wondering.

This is true. I think I just heard something like that here in California. They're supposed to really start going after fix it ticket stuff, because they're planning on increasing the fines SIGNIFICANTLY.
