My city is small so I don't have to deal with a lot of those type of people.

No thanks! To each his/her own though. Nothing about ranch life I like. I'm not into riding horses, could care less about roping cattle and I find rodeos to be laughable at best.

I'm allowed to have a horse on our property but that's about it in terms of livestock. Really want some dairy cattle and maybe chickens.

I like it. I live near the National forest so its real quiet and lots of woods and trees and we have a pond and the animals. Its great. But we have a ranch in Fl too, just my aunts family takes care of it these days. We dont do rodeos. Thats alot of work and it sucks when you get hurt. Nope, just breeding and training.
