My wife decided to surprise me last night and get GT5 for me last night! I was up for a few hours grinding to level 9 just to by my Camaro. RY with black stripes, had just enough to supercharge it, too.

My tag online is ffaorlandu, I'll be on more tonight. Currently looking around to find a Logitech G27 thats available now and reasonably priced. For now, regular controller it is.

Amazon has them at retail price, $299.99 but their shipping estimate is "1 to 3 months" so doesn't seem like they can keep them in stock yet. I found one on ebay, BIN for $299.99 as well. Checking with the seller on something, but that will probably be the one I buy.

I had an old Driving Force GT back in the day with GT3 A-Spec. I really liked it and now I want to step it up with the G27, mainly for the clutch and shifter for a real driving experience.

Buy from Logitech and search for Coupon codes. Got mine for 269.99 + Shipping and came in about a week. Call and verify shipping info before purchasing though.

I'm thinking about settling for a Logitech Driving Force GT. Its half the price and more than sufficient for me. I'd love to have the clutch and H shifter, but I'd want the shifter in the right place (by my knee/thigh) which means buying or making a stand for it. That's more than I want to spend right now.

Up to level 14 now. Bought my Camaro as soon as I hit level 9. It's just about maxed out now, all engine upgrades, trans, exhaust, suspension, tires, etc. Sitting at 701 HP and around 630ft/lbs of torque. I did the Super Car races last night, left the Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, and Ford GT in the dust

I've been playing for a bit lately. Only got lvl 5 on A spec, and B spec has nothing on it. lol Only got few cars in the garage. Hopefully i'll get enough credits for better cars (camaro, corvett, etc) later.

I started out with the same car! Just keep racing until you get to level 9, by then you'll have enough credits to buy a Camaro. Also check out the seasonal events if you can race any, they give a lot of credits compared to the A-Spec races. The FR challenge gives 40,000+ and I saw there was an FF challenge. They also give a lot of experience.

Still running my Camaro but it has peaked in terms of power. Saving up for something that can go higher than 1,000 HP after upgrades. Doing more drifting, too. I did one of the seasonal drift events and got a 7800... which I thought was decent until I saw the high score was 17,000!

I popped it in over the weekend. I actually passed all the Jeff Gordon NASCAR (lame) tests except the last one, due to it's impossibility! Got all the Top Gear ones though with ease. Then bought quite a few cars from the UCD.

Hit like 296 in my X2010 on Indy with draft, but that was a while ago.
