Are you sure you gave the right link because the vette in that video is definitely not a convertible. Sorry, i'm tired and may have lost my mind.

That guy is definitely the worst corvette driver I have ever seen though.

Just making sure the targa top is the removable panel in the roof, right? So its essentially a 'vert with a roll bar?

Anyway, I'm pretty sure that the Z06 is only coupe because of the need to increase rigidity and reduce weight.

National Geographic had a cool show on about the Corvette Z06. It uses a completely different space frame made by Dana, lighter and stonger than the regular Vettes hence no factory convertible Z06. Check this out.
