Yeah, the Ecoboost is turning out to be a force to be reckoned with. Hopefully Ford will put it in a Mustang with some taller gears.

I had one of the early SHO's and it was a fun car for sure. Yamaha V-6 and a 5 speed stick. Loaded with all the options. I truly miss that ride. :( The new one looks OK on the outside and much nicer on the inside.

No sale - Camaro will be here soon.

I think this is becoming a Ford sight....I think I have seen more Ford threads in the last few days than Camaro....or even Chevy in general....

I do not dislike it but I don’t know, to me it looks like a bloated toyota?

You don't say ...

The SHO might smoke the Charger R/T and the G8GT, and might run with the SRT8 and GXP ... sick of bench racing but I'm bored lol

I just can't get the old Taurus out of my head when I hear the word 'Taurus'. When I hear the word 'Camaro' I can't get the old ones out of my head and that's why I'm so geeked up about it.

GM's LNF and the TT DI 6 BMW puts in the 335 have very similar curves, so I'd say its just what you get with turbo charging, direct injection and serious DOHC VVT.

You’d have to check all the standard options but it seems the G8 GT is the better value. Of course AWD is going to cost around $1500-2000 and add weight but then you can move in the snow and rain to so may depend on where you live.

Just imagine what a little ECU tuning will do for this, 135/335 guys are getting an extra 70hp out of the N54 with a tune, bet this could hit 415hp easy with only a $500 tune.

it should hit 400whp/400wtq easy. that's why this engine would be killer in a mustang

Word is, it is de-tuned so it won't kill the tranny (like the auto Cobalt SS & HHR SS). It should be at least 400/400 if & when it makes it to the RWD Mustang and F150.

According to Ford the 2009 Taurus AWD comes in at 3814 lbs., so a good guess would be somewhere around 4000 lbs. for the SHO.
