No those are the "easier" classes. This class is Criminal law and procedure, it's taught by the founder of the criminal justice department and long time chair. (he stepped down this year althoguh he's still the "head"). He is super strict in his grading, and he considers a D- a "good" grade. So when I go to ask for help, he says I'm doing just fine......

Sounds like the CJ department at CSUS.

Nice. I graduated with and overall of 2.7 mostly cause I slacked ass my first two years. But in my minor, finance, I have a 3.0.

Texas is all about Oil Companys. They are everywhere and a nice well paying job.

I have an overall 2.3
Same deal my first two years. All my classes were general ed, and I just hated some of them. But I have a 3.0 in my major and this class is going to drop me to a 2.9 in the major and a 2.2 overall if I don't get at least a C.
So far my grade is either a F+(if possible) or a D-

I noticed that on my drive from Montgomery to San Angelo. Nothing but oil companies in East Texas!

Its so frustrating!! And I hate that they dont weigh the major classes than basics cause I think this is the case for most.
