I'm with Bonnie. I wouldn't spend a dime on it, especially if it is a recall issue. Let them do it. To hell with Chrysler.

Why spend money and labor on something that should be fixed for free? If you're unhappy with the dealership's slow service where the vehicle is at, take it to another Chrysler dealer and see if they can't pull a few strings and try to get the back-ordered part in a little quicker.

I had a Jeep and got constant run around from the stealership for recalls and warranty work and started dealing with Mopar in Detroit. Detroit was useless. The first and last MOPAR I will ever own!

My friend has a Ford Windstar on recall for a rear axel that can rust and fall off. They are so over loaded they've had it for over a month and a half. He's been driving a KIA rental car they provided. While they've had it another recall came through for it. He had to bring the rental back and sign papers again for another month. They have a lot filled with peoples vans. All with rental cars. Lots of money. I'd hit up Chrysler for a rental. If they can't fix it quick they should provide you with one. It's not your fault.

I can honestly say I will never own another Chrysler product again. Neither will my kids nor anyone else I can ever keep from it. I've explained it to my kids to be certain.

A vehicle on recall and you can't get the freaking part? I just found out it has been on recall for years. We just never took it to the dealer.
