Why is there no Convertible section on Camaro5 ?

I know this has been posted before, but now that that there is a ZL1 and Z28 (which doesn't exist yet) sections why can't we have a convertible section ??
There are enough unique things mechanically and physically to be separated from the other SS/LT/LS.
Anybody else feel this way ???

Because the convertibles are the same cars minus the roof.

Yeah, not quite. It wasn't that simple.

I vote that there is a 'vert specific section for 'vert specific items (spoiler, bracing, roof mechanism, etc...).

No there are a lot of differences in the support structures in the engine compartment and underneath.
Lot of cosmetic differences also, like the antenna in the spoiler. I was hoping for another HAVOC spoiler like my coupe but that's not going to work !

Because to us the convertibles don't exist yet either. Not till we drive them off the lot. LOL

I vote for a Vert section also.

I think this has been asked before. Essentially, the logic is that there isn't a whole lot of potential 'vert specific topics, the similarities are much greater than the differences. If we see that there has been quite a bit of technical questions/discussions regarding the convertible we will definitely reconsider having a separate section.

moved to announcements/suggestions/feedback/questions section

Using this logic, why is there still a z28 section, its similar to the ZL1, Oh wait , there is no 5th gen Z28.

Tried this before. Almost got banned for bumping the suggestion. Moderators and/or Owner are narrow minded. Like you said, can get a ZL1 forum within a week for something that's a year away, but having the verts out now still doesn't justify it in their minds. So for now we have to try and find information through multiple sections; most of which are in the dealer section right now. Boy THATS appropriate!!!!

I'm sorry you feel that way about us. We are open to suggestions and there have been a number of changes and additions to the site as a direct result of member input. However, implementing every single suggestion made simply won't work.

I'm not sure why you take issue with the ZL1 section. There is far more ZL1 discussion going on than convertible discussion, and this was happening while it was known as the Z28 too. Now, if there was an LS specific area, but not one for the 'vert I would completely understand.
