got my first speeding ticket in it!!!! - Page 3

I got my SS last April, got popped in June for 45 in a 30. Paid the $190 and got it defered from my record for a year. As long as I make it back to June without another one, it doesn't go on my record. I hadn't had a ticket in 5 years at that point. My Mazda 6s was fast but not as noticeable as the SS is.

yesterday we were coming back from dinner and in a stretch of road i never see cops in i had the urge to punch it and pass this van but i didn't. good thing because there was a cop totally hiding in the landscaping bushes which is all brand new grass and landscaping. man was he laying in wait. i would have gotten it had i been speeding.

i just hate how he didnt believe me,
but im sure out of 10 people he stops 9 of them lie to him so i understand.

then i said "so im making up a story about hurrying home to my 7 year old with a high fever who has autism
and doesn't understand why he is so hot just to get out of a ticket?
im not trying to get out of the ticket,just give me it so i can go home and give him his medicine"

i kind of think he realized i wasnt lying to him after that.

Lol got some balls there talking like that. I respect you though I work with many autistic kids every week, its my job. Sorry about the ticket but be happy it wasnt up here in Ny. 80 in a 55 can hit you for up to $500 minimum.

You are pretty close, we get lied to constantly. But,after a number of years you learn who is most likely telling the truth and who's not. The most common is having to go to the bathroom especially when they are leaving the City where there were places to stop. Its funny that in 9 yrs I've never had anyone lose control of their functions while they were waiting.
I've let one guy go. An older gentleman going about 20 over. Poor guy he was almost in tears and when I asked him why he was going so fast he said "Cause officer I just s--- myself." By the raw smell of it he wasn't lying. Drive carefully sir... goodbye
