Got sniped on that LM1 set and the stereo I was going to fix turned out to be a tape deck. Passed on both obviously.

Then found out that my tax return money, birthday money, and 'mod money' from the parents for my birthday have now been reallocated to paying student loans and the $1200 bill that is my A&P test in it's entirety.

So laymans terms: Unless I blow something up mechanically that can't be fixed with duct tape; the T/A isn't getting touched.

As Kurtis Blow once said.. "These are the breaks.."

Told them that I should have probably kept the truck to save them from the mod-fever that's developed. They about blew a gasket because to them.. keeping the truck was more expensive. Should have bought a Toyota then..

I'm a noob when it comes to working on a car. I'd like to do it myself, but I also don't have the right equipment. As I told Jason, I'm hoping to find someone with a lift that can help me.

I installed everything in my sig, and saved me at least 2 grand in labor...and that's only 4 mods. lol
I can't even put air pressure in tires right. I know how to open my hood, fill my window wash and that's about it Trust me I tried changing a tailight out of my G6 one time and I lost my wrench inside the bumper. I tore apart the tailights on my grand am and cracked the lenses and had super glue hanging out. I'm VERY MECHANICAL INCLINED. I just need to marry a mechanic and I will be good

Sweet!! Hopefully once the new gears are in you'll be good to go with no new issues.

Having a lift would definitely make life easier. My o2 sensor swap the other week was laaaaaame on jackstands. I don't know how hard to reach the manifold bolts are on a fifthgen, but they can't be any harder than a fourthgen. Just run to Sears and pick up a decent Craftsman mechanic tool set. Grab a 200 piece and you'll have everything you need. IIRC headers don't require anything special, but a breaker bar might make your life a little easier.
