Looks very similar to what I have been eating two meals a day for the last week. Only I WISH they had sprouts, avocados and sunflower seeds on the salad bar! LoL! I have been adding tuna, kidney beans, or boiled eggs to get protein...sometimes a little cheese. But gosh I need some variety or I am gonna go insane!!! Just need a little more patience, cuz after this week, I am gonna have a little kitchen in my room and will be hitting up the commisary!! Can't wait!!!

Hang in there! Some of the food does get really old! I can't eat, smell or look at canned tuna from last contest prep! lol But just think about what you've accomplished so far and what your end result will be...........HOTNESS!

well on Monday a week ago, I had some minor surgery and I've stopped losing... I'm stuck.. Diet hasn't changed, but I've been some what less mobile as I've recovered over the last week.

Today I gained back a pound.... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Now I've heard that when your body experiences trauma it goes into "storage" mode to help heal. and I've noticed my BP is up a bit... Also due to the healing process so my Doc told me...

So, what's the deal... should I just ignore the weight gain for now? and keep my diet where it is...

I'm sure my body will get back on track... so this is more of a mini rant...

OK done venting...
Keep your diet the same! and just stay focused on what your gonna continue when your body is ready. If your at home alot make sure you buy healthy snacks like jerky, popcorn and pretzels. You can do it Chris............Like Peanut says:......... FOCUS

Typical day... after hpriii threatened to smack me.

Snack on a handful of tortilla chips.. 140 Cal

Your diet doesn't look bad at all, if you're not exercising with it, if you were exercising the cals might be a little low. I wouldn't worry about it, give it a week or two and see what happens, if it's because of your surgery things will probably resume once you're done healing. Just curious are the other two days slightly higher in cals, I think that would be beneficial as long as they are not from bad food choices.

I can pretty much stick to the M-F
Sat and sun day are hit or miss as I'm usually doing the daddy day care thing so we end up at FF or making something easy for the kiddos.

But I try hard to make good choices with food when I eat out. grilled instead of fried... no sodas, salads if possible. If I need something sweet to drink I have some gatorade G2's in the fridge which help keep me away from juices and sodas and such.

I'm gonna start eating more cottage cheese... not sure if I should go nonfat, low fat or just regular?

I'd say I take in more calories on the weekend but not a huge increase.. but some bad stuff does sneak in.

I know it's a bit random... not sure if that helps.

That sounds ok. Your cals are a little on the low side but if you are not exercising they are not too low. If you added added a min of 30 min cardio it would really increase your results by the way. If you were practicing carb cycling( a very proven method of fat loss) you would eat low cals, usually by reducing carbs, for 4-5 days max then increasing them for 1 or 2 days so this is kind of inline with what you're doing as long as it's not to much junk on the weekends. Cottage cheese is very good especially for night time snacks as it is a slow digesting protein and helps provide protein while you're sleeping and in a fasted state. You should use fat free or 2% because the fat in cottege cheese as well as a lot of dairy products is saturated fat. Also read the ingredients, although all dairy products contain natural sugars you don't want added processed sugar.

Sweet! Also the last time I had My RMR checked it was right at 1400.

When I stopped doing the Navy Rescue Swimmer gig and took a desk job as a civilian, my metabolism took a huge hit.

But you are right. once I'm healed up I'll start the cardio back up, at least a couple times a week.

thanks man.

You should add cardio slowly and gradually build up, I'm not sure of any factors but 1400 sounds a little low, if you want you can tell me either here or by pm your age weight and height and I can re-calculate it for you.
