I guess I'm too old for the site... I cannot believe the mods... The total waste of money... I lived through the years, that original Camaros were modified, and then trashed, and junked... Look at the qualitiy of restorations now.. Does a SS 396 get restored with lowering springs and red colored calipers?? Sorry Its just me.. The mods are like piercings, and tattoos, and they make me sick... I'm going to sell car, and but a nice original 69 Camaro The others sites are the same, Mod the car, and party..

I dont think you should sell the car because you dont want to mod it, If you dont want to mod it thats kewl thats your car. Do what you want with it.

Hey all, I've floated around the site reading before but never really popped on until now. I installed a heritage grill today and was so impressed I thought I'd join the party in here.

I bought this badass 2SS last August from a Carmax in a situation that seemed too good to be true. There were 3 other people on the lot trying to buy it out from under me. Previous owner was a 16 year old who's dad paid cash for it, then the kid decided he didn't like driving stick and got a Lexus instead and sold it back at a huge loss. Thank the lawd for silly rich folks.

Anyways lil about me, I'm a 26 y.o. aerospace engineer in the DC area. Really look forward to seeing some of these events in person, totally new to Chevy and Camaros (been driving the same '96 cherokee since high school). They're twins

New to the site and new to Camaros. Just bought my new 2011 1SS Imperial Blue last week. Was delivered on a flat bed to the house and had a nice ding on the body line and scrathes from some DB towel drying it when they "detailed" it.

So I sent it back and they are fixing it. I expect it to be delivered to me again on Monday. LOTS of useful info. on this site. I expect to be visting it quite often for info.

I have been reading posts for several months and have enjoyed the stories and information. I finally joined last month and look forward to this next year as I wait on the production of the ZL1.
I really enjoyed Orange Krates documentation of his Camaro from start to finish and he is a really great guy.
