Suggestion

I am usually not one to complain, but I think I am not alone when I say I am already sick of the ZL1 threads.

I mean yes, it is exciting. But it isn't anything new. We already knew the ZL1 was coming out. I don't see why every other thread needs to be about the ZL1, especially when they are all talking about the same thing (which can be found in the original ZL1 thread) over and over and over and over again.

Is there any way the dozens of threads started in the past 24 hours could be merged into one?

I may just be over reacting, but I think this has become kind of ridiculous.

We won't go that far, but I'll probably do a bit of cleanup over the weekend (assuming someone else hasn't done so already).

It's funny that you posted this. I was going to make the exact same post but figured that it wasn't worth my time. I couldn't agree more. Every other thread is about this or that on the ZL1. Until someone has one in their possession who gives a crap. I logged in a few days ago, checked the "new posts", saw that most of them were about the ZL1 and logged right back off. I've noticed myself spending quite a bit less time on here because of that very reason. Some talk is good, but my God, WTF! These peeps is crazy!!

I was just saying the same thing yesterday, to another member here and he agreed also..... And I was thinking about saying something but figured I would get in trouble, so I left it alone! Glad someone did!!!

Before the 5th gen was even a consideration, this site didn't even exist. Now look at it. We're STILL here making posts about the 5th gens. You'll just have to get over it. So yes, IMO you ARE overracting a bit (except for the shotgunning effect on the posts). It'll die down in a while. Wait until they announce the price tag and people start actually getting one and they're at the dealerships. It'll all start again.

So they are now officially saying they're releasing the baddest mofo Camaro to ever come off the assembly line and every Camaro lover should just go "meh?" Don't think so. Not with this crowd.

One good point that's being addressed is that there should be a common thread area for the ZL1 optioned cars.

this has happened so many times over the years I can't remember. GM introduces/leaks something and our site swells with numerous identical threads. just gotta allow the hype to settle down. we're working on merging and cleaning up the redundant threads. just takes a little bit.
