Had to go fill up my work Van, (chevy of course) over at the bus barn today & one of the Mechanics waved me over as i was leaving.

him: Come march the Camaro killer is being released, 440 (something like that) horses out of the 302 not some whimpy a$$ 350
Me: Oh ok not a problem. The Mustang Killer was announced yesterday.

Him: what is it?

Me: 550Ponys, Made to kill the 460 Horses the GT500 has & to kill any mustangs out there.

Hm: (voice is starting to shake now) whats it called?

Me Camaro ZL1 just like the 69 Copo cars lol.

Bye see ya later

his fast dropped & him & the lead mech heads both went down

cant wait to take them the copy of the email that got.

theses guys are such ford lovers they cant stand working on my work van lol.

The 2012 Boss 302 will have 440HP and will have no direct competitor from the Camaro lineup since the ZL1 is being produced to be the GT500's direct competitor. By the way, the GT500 has 550HP not 460HP.

Hopefully GM will decide to bring the Z28 back to compete with the Boss 302, but only time will tell.

2007-2009 @ 500hp, 2010 @ 540hp, 2011 @ 550hp at just 3700lbs. Where did you get the 460?

The 2011 5.0 is already a Camaro killer. The Boss is in its own class and yes, it too kills the Camaro SS.

You're lucky he didn't know what he was talking about. Would have been a little embarrassing to be off by 90hp on the gt500. Good job shutting him up though. I hate people that think they have to prove something about X car every time they see a competitor/owner of a competitor, ESPECIALLY when they don't own said car. The zl1 is going to be bad ass.
