Yeah, I saw that same sign. But a month later one of my freinds that who works at the very store was talking to management. They told him to start bringing in the carts because one just hit a mercedes and they (as in walmart) was gonna have to pay for it. I guess walmart doesn't give a shit about the smaller folks. Ironic huh. I hate them with a passion that kills.

Signs don't mean anything. If I wore a sign that said, "I kill people who say 'hello,'" then I would still be a murderer in the eyes of the court, even if I claimed that my victims were liable for saying "hello." If someone damages your property, then you have a right to reimbursement.

Sorry about the dents in your cars....but that can happen anywhere....Wal-Mart, Target, the Mall, hell even in our own drive ways or garages....No need to keep bashing Wal-Mart. I find a lot of deals on items there. Especially now that I am buying a new Camaro....I am going to have to pinch and save anyway I can now!

I wish NOTHING but ill fortune to you and your family and its bloodline!

Its funny how I can take so much crap from people and still want the best for them but when they mess with my ride I just about lose it!!

GRRRRRRRRR!!

No pics, just imagine to your self a dent in my rear passenger door!

Almost four years i've kept this baby MINT!! MINT I tell you!! And now some B@STARD goes and changed that!

I feel like crying!

:'(
I feel your pain!!!!

Kept my car looking brand, spanking new for a little over a year. I walked longer distances so I could park away from everyone else, I cleaned it inside and out weekly, I kept the engine bay show-quality clean (and that's quite a task after a salty winter!). All that just to have some dumbs*** in a plow to back into my rear-driver's door and almost tear it right off the hinges!!!!!

hmf. I have a very strong dislike for everything Walmart. I don't even consider them when shopping for deals; even though I know their crap is probably cheaper. In fact, I'm realizing just now that it's such a strong dislike that I'd say it rivals my hatred for Toyota...I could go on for hours, but that's for another time...had just to mention that.

If by American way you mean destroy America, then yes.

Dang it...looks like I will go on. :(

Symbol of the American Way?!?!? HA! EVERYTHING in that store is foreign made. 100% of their stock. Wanna know why? BECAUSE of their "competition-shattering" low prices. If you're a manufacturer of anything, and want one of America's largest outlet chains to carry your product; they demand that you give it to them for $xx.xx. If you can't do it while making it here, you go overseas. Yes, they hire lots and lots of local workers...that's the only reason I don't hate them completely (yet), but they are, imho, the most anti-American retail company on our soil.

I've also heard (from employees or relatives of operators) far too many stories of companies going out of business because Wal-Mart and their "unique" products screw them right the hell over by discontinuing the product (sometimes before even selling it). I refuse to step foot in those stores...

Sorry for the Hijack, Matrix.:(:(

I'm right there with you dragon. My wife still shops there but I refuse. I will go across the street to meijer. F*** WalMart!:middlefinger:

Get this, my wife's mom works at walmart as a cashier. They would usually have a fan plugged into their stations so that they didn't get too hot. Well Walmart decided that those little four inch fans take up too much power. So they took them away, and informed them that they would have to buy battery operated ones if they wanted to keep them..

But that's not the end of it. The day they were taken away is the same day that they "just happened" to get a shipment of battery operated fans in and on a shelf within view of the cashiers.

Wow, thanks a lot walmart you F'd me out of my fan, but by god you made sure that I was not totally screwed.

Give me time I will come up with more bullshit examples in terms of walmart treating their employees like shit.

Actually no Walmart (same for any other store chain) doesn't have to legally. They may choose to in order to keep a customer but they are not legally bound to fix a car unless the incident can be directly tired to the actions of an employee. I'm an assistant manager for another retail chain (Dollar General to be specific) and during the time I've been there we've had quite a few incidents happen including a couple cart dings, strong winds blowing customer trash around damaging cars, and even a small tornado ripping the front doors off of the store severely damaging 2 cars (one was unlucky enough to have a door go though the engine compartment and hit the engine hard enough to break the engine and tranny mounts and deem both unrepairable). We've had 1-2 threaten lawsuits and the owner who lost their engine actually tried it (his insurance company wasn't going to cover the cost of the repair as he only had liability so he wanted us to pay for it). In court, stores are not held liable in incidents that occurred because of a customers neglect or because of nature.

Yeah I have been looking into this of late. Like how the corporations who state they are patriotic Americans are destroying the very thing that they say they stand for. Greed and profit is #1 to them and all they care about. Fcuk the people and the delicate social survival climate!

I feel unless these giant corps are stopped we are all doomed.

Would be interesting for an Walmart employee to chime in!

Sorry to hijack my own thread!!!
