The Terminator package was a great engine in an extremely sub par package. The car has a following to be sure, but I wouldn't own one if I actually had to pay for it and I have an extremely soft spot for Mustangs.

It will be a sad day for performance enthusiasts if it does not.

What are you talking about, the '03-'04 Cobra was outclassed by the 2007 GT500. Still, n a straight line, the '03 Cobra after just about a DECADE now have only been beaten by the GT500's and remain unmatched by others, standing at #2 on the pony car list. It's impressive still. It will get knocked down a peg or two (finally) when this HP/Z28 thing finally gets pushed through and whatever adjustments are made (if any) to the SS and 5.0.

I don't know if the Z28 gunna beat the GT500.

I highly doubt it. just the price alone I have a hard time believing that the Z28 can compete prices with the GT500.

If we talking stock, then you're down to #3. 5.0 > Cobra there.

I consider the 2011 Alum block GT500 the 'best' Mustang ever built, which is what I was replying too. You are correct, that after all these years the Cobra is still in the top 5, and even higher when considering 'ability to mod' and bang for the buck.
