I know. Until the day he died, my Grandfather (god rest his soul) who worked at the Lorain Ford Plant refused to call Toyotas "Toy-Oh-Tah". They were "Tai-Oh-Duh".

And I still hold that sentiment..even though I crossed over to the 'dark side' from Ford.

Oddly enough, he also bought my mom her first car..a 1969 Camaro. The only Mustang he ever bought was a 74, which had a cracked block from the factory. Became a write-off on trade-in. Of course the next car was a 1978 Camaro. Never had a Mustang since..

Amazing.

SPEED finds another way to waste an hr. to another "NASCAR show".

If NASCAR wants some credibility, do away will all the unnecessary B.S., and stick to showing races, and maybe 1 or 2 shows devoted to the associated "stuff".

I used to be a HUGE fan. But Sr. passed away, the sport became 85% whining, overpaid, spoiled brats, NASCAR imposed too many rules, and the oversaturation, via SPEED, etc., makes me sick of it even before I see my first race.

Would of been cool to see the new Mustang,Challenger and Camaro racing in NASCAR, I'm sure Ford Dodge and Chevy would of also. Either way Jimmy will school them all again this year

We've visited this before, but I'll say it again..

Blame Taiohduh and Mr. Comish lap dancer for the kaibash on any true blue stock cars going on the track over some glorified Camry. Please tell me they kept it front wheel and put big slicks on the front and bike tires on the rear.

Matt always drove a Chevy until he went to work for Roush. The Busch/Nationwide car he has driven the last couple of years belongs to Roush so it is a Ford now, but I agree Ford pays the bills but he is a Chevy man deep down...

I read somewhere awhile back Greg Biffle drove a Firebird with a big block Chevy in it when he was young, he said it was his favorite car...I bet the brass at Ford loved that.
