I had Taco Bell tonight, and I can conclusively report that whatever was in those tacos was tasty.

Stop right there, I can buy any brand of beans in a can and it taste the same as the store.

But I had wondered for a while, why even when I buy the tacobell spice pack, I can't get it to taste the same at home. Even considered getting a food processor to see if I could get the meat small like it to help with making my own. Didn't know I needed instant Quaker oats, Hershey coco-powder and play ground sand

What, finally someone went to Taco Bell that wasn't drunk and read the list of ingredients? I hope they don't hit White Castle next, or the only place for the recently inebriated to go at 4am will be Denny's or the 24 hour donut shop.

no complaints here about the food, however some of their nachos at some locations were bitterly stale...

You can't have a "Dollar" or "Value" menu if you use real, A-grade beef....sorry.

Fast food is not one of my favorite choices....if I have to, then I'll usually get the chicken...it isn't much better...but I can count on my hand the number of times I've had a cheeseburger at a fast food chain since last fall or so...

Really? I keep the sand right next to the flour.

"The lawsuit is bogus and filled with completely inaccurate facts. Our beef is 100% USDA inspected, just like the quality beef you would buy in a supermarket and prepare in your home. It then is slow-cooked and simmered with proprietary seasonings and spices to provide Taco Bell's signature taste and texture. Our seasoned beef recipe contains 88% quality USDA-inspected beef and 12% seasonings, spices, water and other ingredients that provide taste, texture and moisture. The lawyers got their facts wrong. We take this attack on our quality very seriously and plan to take legal action against them for making false statements about our products. There is no basis in fact or reality for this suit and we will vigorously defend the quality of our products from frivolous and misleading claims such as this."

I almost didn't belive it when it was on the daily show but when it was pick up by all the national news stations, it must have legs to stand on.

daily show went on how the beef is only inspected before cooking [they buy inspected beef], but no one is checking after.
