Agh, dealer caught in a lie about sale :)

Ok, so the local mopar dealer is having a sale on all their new and used cars, was triple your tax refund and now is automatically 3000 off. Anywho they have a loaded 09 CHallenger R/T with 43k miles, was on their website for 27600 before they removed all the prices. i emailed about it and was told the price is 29,600 and I can get 3k off that. i emailed them and let them know what the online price was and this is the response i got:

That means it is 24600 before ttl which I believe would be a pretty good price since it was around 38k new. Only issue is that I would want lower models and preferably a 10 model. I am so tempted to go in and see what we could work out though.

Used car prices are very subjective. If you're buying it for well under KBB and the car is what you want, jump on it. But if you don't really want that car, then wait and get the car you really want. It's so much money, and if you buy a cheaper car to save 5 or 8k that you could've saved up in a year, you'll probably regret it.

You are right sir, I think I will wait because that is really more miles than I want and silver is probably my least desired color haha

Even though thats a good deal on paper, it's not such a good deal for someone wanting a low mile car in a different color.

This is true. i am waiting dor sure, and I have found online 09s and 10s with 10k or less miles for about the same price....... and not silver lol.

You can get a new 2010 rt here loaded up for 30-32k.

Well, i drove it..... It has either been wrecked or plain out beat to death. it was way down on power compared to the 10 R/T I drove last year and the steering felt wierd, like there was a rubber band wrapped around the steering shaft (best way i can describe it). It was a no go for sure.
