Me too They acutally had a few problems with craiglist ads in Milwaukee several people have gotten robbed. They come meet you and that's it I have also known to stay from SINGLES websites. I have MET the most bizarre liars and creepers

I've bought some tools and stuff.... made sure to meet in a public place. I bought one of my welders for $1500 off CL, it was $4500 new.... I met the guy one day, came back and bought it another day. I didn't want to show up the first day with $1500 in my pocket. Although after leaving the bank that day with all that cash..... jeez I felt nervous with all that in my pocket!

Turns out he may want the Monte. Guess the Berli isn't cost efficent for him (350 coupled to a 700R4..) Meeting at the local Wally World tomorrow morning. As public and probably appropriate as you can get. :/

Drivers door is broke, no heat.. but then again the Monte isn't any better.

36,300. Remember I bought it with 29,700 miles in June. Been driving it due to the mild temps we've been having. The Berlinetta (if this scheme works) would be a DD and the Trans Am would be a show car.

As long has half the crap works on the Berlinetta I'll flog it and not the T/A. I just hate putting pointless miles on it while the Monte waits for more help. It's safe, but not that safe (rear brakes are 97% shot).

But I have a sinking feeling this won't work; which is fine. I can just scrap the Monte and use the money to clean the bird up.

Take it easy on the 700r4 in the Berlinetta. The one in my old Formula 350 grenaded at 88K miles.

Door handle and Heat should be cheap and easy to come by. I love to get another thirdgen. I'd get another bird and LSX it.

I plan to, but I doubt this is a normal 700R4. Or it could be and the Rocket 350 is a late 70s thin-cast block.

Which means the motor could grenade before the trans.

EDIT: I also don't know what's more awkward.. getting a 3rd gen as a winter driver, or finding out that the Monte in current running condition is worth around 2K.

A most wonderful substance that falls from the sky in far too limited quantities around here. We had around 2 feet at one point, but through melting and compaction, its half that now :(

Yeah, right now we've got a warm spell here too. Took the Bird out for the past few days but she's nearing time or an oil change. Should still do it on the dot since it's the 2nd change since I bought it. First time the oil only went 3K miles and was black as pure crude.

Also hate putting miles on her. :/
