I liked it fast and bouncy. I seemed to be able to nail it better that way. If it was slow I would normally just tap it towards third base unless we were playing that "bunting" wasn't allowed.

Digdug, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders, Asteroids, Galaga, and of course Pac Man.

Back in my day, if you wanted to play video games, you actually had to walk to an arcade, up hill, in the snow.

Gun racks and rifles at school. Everyone with a pickup had a gun rack, and every gun rack had one or two rifles. Did we shoot up the school? Heck no. Our school even had a Rifle Club.
We had pinball games. VCRs weren't even invented when I was a kid. You had to watch it when it was ON or you NEVER got to watch it. Video games? we played with sticks and string. And liked it. It was uphill to the pool hall, both ways, and in the winter we would wrap our bare feet with barb wire for traction.

I so miss those days man! Riding bike to school, playing at lunch, recess, class parties, playing football in the street... Kickball, getting a piece of plywood and putting bricks under up making a ramp...(watching that one kid who ALWAYS thought the bricks should go lower...hence when he hit the ramp.... BWAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

The best part? he would laugh too!!!

My grandfather, who grew up on a farm in the 1920's, used to take his shotgun on the school bus, to his one room school, park the gun in the cloak room, and hunt rabbits after school while walking home.

It was really a different world then, and in many ways better.

I was a kid in the 60's.. it was a different world, for sure. The guy would run out of the Texaco station to fill your car, check the air in the tires, check the oil, wash the windows, and he knew your first name!

Man I dropped a lot of money into the arcades as a kid. I couldn't tell you how much money I dropped on Street Fighter, Tron, Space Invaders and Mrs. Pac Man.
