I'm lucky if I get 1200 a day now!
For those following this the cal intake in this case would be 1774 cals for weight loss, not 2700. 1200 a day is not enough and eating this few calories will be counter productive, eating 2700 a day would definately result in weight gain.

I have read several post in here where "I burned xxxx calories on the xxxx machine". That number is about as accurate as the weather man. If you body is efficient (in somewhat shape) you will not burn that amount of calories. If you are in poor shape, you may burn more calories. It's just giving you something to look at while attempting to run to the end of the planet on that treadmill. Big thing here, don't worry about that number. Stay with your diet, stay with your exercising, it will show. Everyone is doing great. If you are struggling and need a little extra, let us know, shot me a pm and we can get back on track. We have a lot of great experienced "gym" rats wanting to help.

For those stuck on your diets and were doing well, give more information. The more info you give, the better we can help tweak and improve.

Now go eat a piece of chicken!

Thanks so much for the help and encouragement. I set my treadmill up this weekend and the little monitor thing doesn't work. So, I set a time and keep up a pace. Started at 15min, then 20 min and I plan to increase it to 45-60 min until I can get outside. I had to laugh, when I got home later than usual, I thought "Oh I'll just skip the treadmill and relax, it's late", but Biggest Loser was on TV......off I went......20min watching HGTV, one of my favorites.

I really appreciate everyones input and advice. I know it's a marathon not a sprint, but I sure wish it would happen faster.....oh well I feel better and that's a sucess in itself.

I dropped a little bit of weight since july from only eating 1200 calories a day and doing 45 minutes of cardio.

Step of progress

My gym shut down back on December 31st. I was gymless for awhile. Then when I wanted to go look at a gym I ended up getting soo sick from the stomach flu I ended up in ER with IV tubes in me and everything. Well I'm fully recovered now and I signed up to a new gym last nite. I'm kind of scared today to go work out because I haven't worked out in over 5 weeks so I think I will pace myself

Good news Stacy. Glad you are feeling better, and remember, you'll
feel even better once you get back to a workout routine. Slow and
easy and work your way up. Best advice I've heard....fitness is a
marathon, not a sprint race.

Thanks. I'm hoping no more flus this year this last one just about killed me off:( Believe me I can feel my legs are all achy when I stand at work for 8 hours a day. It will FINALLY feel good to start working my body again
