I'm kinda new to the knife world, I've been carrying around a Winchester pocket knife my dad bought me when I was a kid. The job I just applied for requires me to drive in some sketchy parts of campus late at night, so I figured I should probably get something that will open quickly.

I like my SOG, I've had many over the years but its the best so far. Its got a half serrated stainless blade and its spring assisted. Its got a really low profile clip on it, kinda backwards at first.... but it makes it easier to open and close (faster too). I got a few fixed blades, couple bowie knives etc. Always good .

just get yourself a good wetstone and do it yourself.... I got a few of them, most I picked up cheap at yard sales actually.

yikes.... well, this Flash II I got is the fastest I've got.... spring loaded sure opens fast and easy . Hope you don't have to use it bro

nice point..... (no pun intended). All my fixed blades are rambo sized Hard on the pockets .

Haha. I carry a 3.77 inch blade. Fits in my pocket perfectly, though I usually carry it in my boot.
