Base Corvette + supercharger + body kit + wheels is not the same as a ZR1

No, but considering it's supercharged with 622-rwhp, I highly doubt you'll tell the difference. And actually, thats more than what a ZR1 is putting down at the wheels. More power, go faster?? Anyone?

FAR LESS cheaper also.....

And what about the carbon fibre, MR suspension, aluminum frame, and brakes that were borrowed from the Enzo and FXX?

The ZR1 is about far more than straight line performance.

It's definitely awesome for what it is (), but if I was ever given the choice, I'd put the extra $$$ down for a ZR1.

Very true BUT you'll never notice at 100 mph as they say.
The body kits are the latest craze, they do look sweet !!
But your right the rest of the performance package doesnt come with the body kit. BUT again... its looks like a $100,000 car but half the cost.

That's really nice, and all it needs is a 1,200 whp LSX like this 05 C6 and I'd be in heaven

While I do agree it lacks all of the performance parts as the ZR1, I wouldn't cry to much about the carbon fiber or aluminum, a base Corvette is lighter than a ZR1. The ZR1 just has better brakes, engine, and suspension, but not the weight advantage.

From Chevrolet.com

Base Corvette Coupe 1-4LT: 3,208lbs
Corvette Grandsport: 3,311lbs
Corvette Z06: 3,175lbs
Corvette ZR1: 3,333lbs

Interesting to note,....the base Corvette Coupe and the Z06 are only 33 pounds apart! The ZR1 seems to be the heaviest of the bunch. I love the ZR1, but I'd never buy one, even if I had the money when I can get to that level of performance with far less money. I'm too poor! lol. So I'd do better just buying my 1LT with THAT body-kit, get some engine work done(cam, headers, exhaust, supercharger), add better brakes and suspension, and I'd
die a happy man, at 200mph!!

Oh and BigDan, that Vett from Dallas performance is ridiculous dude!!! OMFG. It's exhaust opens the doors of hell! Oh and I love the little touch on the dash "ALWAYS ON KILL" lol. 1300rwhp! Bugatti-Killer.......

The supercharger, beefier suspension, and bigger brakes, and bigger wheels would account for north of 100 LB the ZR1 has on the base car. hell, the car in the pictures probable weighs more than a ZR1

well at least it doesn't have "ZR1" on it. I can't stand people who try and fake a car with badges and all.
