NEED TECH HELP.. CHECK ENGINE

Hi all.....my 2SS is doing great and loving the cooler weather in SOTEX. My question is about my recently inherited 93 F150 302 V8. It only has 57K original miles and is in showroom condition. I have gone thru the tune and fluid changes and new tires and shocks. on the way home tonight the Check Engine lite came on for no apparent reason. The 1993 does not have the OBII port under the dash. Everyting is working and running great. I remember the older trucks used to pop the CKECK ENGINE Lite.
Finally my question...How can I reset the C.E.L. back to normal. your help is appreciated. Oh by the way, I already know it is a FORD.

maybe disconnect the battery for a few minutes? should reset. then see if it comes back on.
