Just ugly.

That car needs to be in the 2500 lbs range, and get well over 35 mpg highway to even have a chance of making it.

Fatalist aren't we?

He said 'well over 35', I think 40 mpg qualifies. But I doubt it will get 'well over 40'

That's the I4 with 5spd, right? Any projections on the 6spd I4 Turbo?

The 1.4T will probably do even better.

Tune and a larger turbo.. I think 35mpg with 250hp on a 2500lb car would be bitchin'.

Are they considering 4 wheel disc brakes on the Sonic or is just going to remain Disc front Drum rears?

I perfer sporty styling, my problem with the car is the oddly proportioned schnoz. To my eye it just isn't well executed. But then, to be fair, this does seem to be a difficult segment to get those front fascia proportions 'right'.

Fiat's Grande Punto isn't perfect, but IMO it is a better example of how to add some sport to a B segment car without mucking up the proportions.

Fiat's got a car named the "Grande Punto"?

Oh, I'm sorry...that's off-topic, but hilarious to me!

Man I had to google the car.. But you pretty much proved my point the Grande Punto is completely boring looking. While I know looks are subjective, but younger buyers trend to perfer styling thats a bit more "stand out of the crowd" That Punto (lol @ Name) would simply dissapear in the crowd and nobody would notice.

The first thing that popped into my mind when I looked at that Punto () was a yaris....

Zabo, I'd love the car with 250. But you aren't getting 250 with a tune and a bigger turbo. You are talking about a weee 1.4 Liter engine Almost 1/4 of the LS3. So you'd be talking 1,000 HP equivalent by putting a Turbo and tune on the LS3.

But I love the idea of 250. So simply ask for the 2.0 LNF. Now you're talking.

Doesn't the LNF have "hot-tune" available from GM? I thought that puts about 300hp down....that'd make an approximate 1000hp LS3, too......
