Verizon is faster around where I live. AT&T has a lot of dropped calls and stuff. I will likely get one when my contract expires

Id say it sort of depends on who does your land lines, what name is on the door of the service truck for hard lines.

In this area AT&T does it all, so its great here.

Everyone else has to buy from them, as they got all the hard lines.
So its near impossiable to be better. Unless you don't use any local hard lines and all Sats.

How is the iPhone the best? Because the ads say so? Until 09 you couldn't take a video or send a pix msg on it. Its far from the best phone out. Its a nice phone, but not the best. IMO.

I'll believe it when I see it. There has been numerous rumors and articles with "insider info" that the Iphone was coming to Verizon since it released and all have proved false. If you read the article carefully, it's all speculation as they say in the second to last paragraph that they are not sure what the announcement is.

Also something else to keep in mind, AT&T just renewed it's exclusivity contract with Apple last year and it doesn't end until 2012. I highly doubt Apple is willing to break that contract and face a lawsuit from AT&T.

I'm still rocking my 2005 RAZR (which is on its last legs) and where moved to now I get NO service from T-Mobile. I'm definitely getting the Verizon iPhone if it happens.

Anti Apple here, no IPhone, No Ipod, No MAC computer, no Apple period! They would give me one and I would sell it for next to nothing. Love Android!

question. in the 2010 camaro if you have an I phone then you can control it with the headunit. But if you have a droid all you can do is hook up viz the blutooth or aux and wont be apple to control it through the headunit like you could the Iphone?

I haven't experienced the AT&T issues. Nothing but good service for us here in SE Michigan. Now the 3G coverage gets spotty on vacation in some places and you are left with E.

I'm also puzzled about those that preffer Blackberry over an iPhone. I have the BB Storm for work and frankly it just doesn't work for me. I had the keyboard version prior to that and it really was pretty bad.

Apple has a few things going for it. Consistency is one. I know when the new iPhone is coming out. It's an annual release. They don't upgrade the device every 3 months making you feel like you should have waited. You will have the best one for a year. The other and probably biggest is form factor. For some reason, and most I've talked to at least agree on this, Apple simply "fit". An iPhone fits in my hand and opperates better than the other devices. And Apple products are just plain pretty. I want a new Airbook just because it's so wonderful to look at.

Yes, I can remember being concerned about replaceable batteries, the ability to add a memory card, etc. But in reality none of those have mattered.

But this is wonderfully fun discussion. One of those where there isn't a right answer but some people think there is.

Also, I read on Cnet News that the next iPhone (this summer) likely wouldn't have 4G. The one thing that is consistent with Apple is they aren't always trying to be first, just the best. Not saying they are the best, many disagree, it's just what they are trying to be. Part of the reason their products are at a higher price point.
