Looks like verizon will get the Iphone after all. Supposed to be 4g. Anyone going for it?

Nah, personally I'd go for the Evo Shift. Cheaper and IMO a better laid out UI. Jobs can balk all he wants about Android being 'fragmented' and all that. I still prefer it to the iPhone.
That, and the whole potential influx of customers to Verizon's network could do more harm than good. Sprint may suck, but at least it's consistent. |

I would love to get off the crackberry. My contract is up in 3 or 4 months. Hopefully they will give us a good incentive to upgrade. Although like most popular items the incentives are few and far between.

Ill stick with Android. I don't want jobs telling me what I can or can't do on my phone.

I'm still running the Samsung Alias (the first one). Best phone I've ever had for quality of sound and easy texting. It's not a smart phone, but I don't need 30 bucks a month to look up a website every now and then to get information or an address.
When I do upgrade phones (already been almost 3 years), I'll most likely go with an android phone anyways. It's good news for wifey who's wanted an iphone forever. Althoguh I think she's been swayed after having her Droid Incredible for a while now. |

I have an Apple computer and an ipod and I would love a iphone but I love verizon and at&t doesn't work out here. I have been reading rumors about that forever but it does indeed look like its finally going to happen. My Droid X is great but I'll probably sell it and get the iphone.

Delighted with my iPhone 4 despite AT&T's spotty service - there would have to valid 4G speed gains though I've read in the Wall Street Journal we'll all pay more for the boost.
Really waiting on iPad II !!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

iPhone is still the best. I have both ATT and Verizon plans. Network speed on ATT is twice as fast as current Verizon 3G network. Hope the Verizon iPhone will work with their new 4G network, otherwise it will marginal on their existing network.
For those wanting to verify your upload and download speeds, for either iPhone or Android, try the app Speedtest.net. App is excellent and looks and works identical for both iPhone and Android.

How many areas have 4G anyways? I hear not very many.
