Maybe it's just me. But Buick is starting to be like BMW. Both in a good and bad way.
The interior is amazing and looks to be very high quality. But the exterior designs are starting to run into each other and they are all starting to look the same.

I'm just not feeling this one. Same thing with the Regal. In fact when I look back at the old W and U Body Buicks it looks like they were doing the same thing. A Century, Park Ave, and Regal to a joe blow almost looked like the same car.

And now we have the Verano and Regal that to me look identical until I realize one's Cruze sized and the Regal is a bit bigger. And then you have a front end that I guess they're trying to push as a Buick signature..

However they just aren't doing enough to make each iteration of a Buick car look unique. The same with BMW.

Cool, thanks for the clarification Now, I'm sure people buying a luxury vehicle aren't going to mind this... but me being me, if I can't pull on the e-brake on a snowy day to slide around an empty parking lot every once in a while, then it is of no use to me

The looks are all about brand recognition...expect to see a similar treatment given to Cadillac, too...

You ever notice how no A-to-B drivers really refers to their BMW as "3 series, or 5 series, etc"? They just have a "BMW". That's hopefully what will happen with Buick and Cadillac eventually. The cars will all be similar enough in exterior styling that people can say they own a "Buick" with pride. But there will be a size of Buick for everyone.

This is phenomenal! Buick has a winner on its hands with the Verano.

Americans equate small car with cheap car. There is such a thing as a small luxery car, and it looks like Buick is trying to change peoples minds about small cars. Thank you GM for not doing a redo of the Cimmaron.

Not bad, not bad at all. I like it better than the Regal, though not as much as the LaCrosse

I was just thinking "Wow, they actually learned from the Cimmaron!"

I think that attitude has changed. Americans bought over 100,000 3 series BMW's last year and when you look at the predictions of future gas prices, this Verano is well timed.

It is a nice looking car. Hope the Verano has the 5-door wagon added to the line up...that would be a nice Mazda competitor...and keep people in GM from the Vibes they drove.

Base Astra with a driver and 1.5l I4 is around 3020lbs. Throw in the larger engine, fluffy amenities and a driver and probably 3500lbs minimum.
